Our gardens would not exist without the valued support of our volunteers. Without a salaried gardener we are in great need of help. If you are interested in getting involved with our gardens, no matter what your background or experience then please get in touch.

Our sensory garden is beautiful, practical and therapeutic, helping to enhance the magical feel of the site and provide us all, children especially, with the opportunity to get our hands dirty.

Our vegetable beds produce lots of lovely fruit and veg., which we use in our café and sell to customers. We have two geodesic dome greenhouses, a water irrigation and a composting system.

We have various rainwater collections on site so that we do not have to rely on mains water to keep everything growing.

We have a small pocket orchard and are currently planting a bigger orchard in and around our camping area.

Groups such as the Prince’s Trust, corporate group volunteers and the probation service have all accessed EcoDysgu on volunteer programmes. If you are a group leader and would like to bring a team to our gardens please give us a call.

Can You Help?

As well as looking for volunteers, we also need plants. Do you have any plants that you are thinning out or do not want anymore? If so we would be immensely grateful for any perennials, shrubs or small trees that you would be willing to donate.

Also any tools or gardening equipment that you no longer want can be put to good use in our gardens. Please give us a call on 01656 728137.
